This fantastic team of volunteers acts as a critical friend alongside the school leadership team. They support the development and monitoring of learning provision in school – striving to ensure that each individual child’s needs are met and that they ‘Help Lights Shine For All’. As part of a Multi-Academy Trust, the Local Academy Council, support the Board of Trustees in holding the school to account and highlighting local needs and priorities.

SUAT supports and leads in the set-up of new academies joining the partnership. The services provided by the central support function cover both educational and non-educational support. In terms of educational support, SUAT is linked to the School of Education of Staffordshire University, which is an outstanding ITT provider.
