A letter to UNICEF

For our local charity, we have chosen to continue to support Florence and the Cystic Fibrosis Charity. We would like to help her to reach her next target of £10,000. As you can see below, she is very close to achieving that.

As part of their legacy of leaving St. Luke’s, our Y6 children carefully consider the charities that they would like the school to support the following year. The children present their presentations and the class vote which local, national and international charity they feel is most worthwhileBelow are the results of our votes and our winning chosen charities.

Remembrance Day

We have been very busy buying poppies, wristbands and badges to support the Royal British Legion.  We held a Remembrance Day service to think about the soldiers who have died in previous wars and to think about those and their families who are serving in today.
